The article, how Jews and Barack Obama are being targeted by extremists is from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which neither endorses nor opposes candidates. This is about extremism and regardless how you (or I) feel about Obama, this is definitely wrong and typical of an excessive and pervasive level of ignorance and mindless, bigoted extremism which is an existential threat to democracy and to the well-being and preservation of life and peace in America and globally. On the one hand there is money which controls how the world goes around and on the other hand there is propaganda which is controlled by racism, personal agendas and ignorance.
My opposition to Barack Obama is based on a lot of things which you can read about in the Crypt. If he was simply the least worst he might be a viable alternative but his unsavory friends are alone enough to disqualify him. If we are so unlucky to get stuck with Obama, I fear we will get a narcissistic known only by two autobiographical books of "fiction" which is self-aggrandizing fluff. We get someone who has no real record of any real accomplishment. We get a community organizer who seems to have planned out his entire lackluster career with just one goal in mind, to become the U.S. President by any means and he out-spent three to 5 times more than Hillary Clinton to obtain the nomination.
Hillary was definitely a better person for the job and received more popular support than Obama, but had less money so Barack won the nomination. Money talks and democracy walks.
I still think McCain is a better candidate and he has a sterling character. He paid for the job with blood and guts, with his almost 6 years in an enemy prison camp and over 22 years fighting for what he believes to be American values in the congress. I don't happen to agree with all of his values, but I respect the man. And his competence has been tested. Obama has not.
But Obama is being subjected to America's particular brand of extremism as described in the article from the ADL. It is still not enough to want to see him win the election. He might muddle through, but I'm not willing to be part of any effort to take that chance and I'd rather support a veteran and moderate Republican like McCain, who I know will be strong on defense and not as crazy as some of his base on the far right (who are as crazy as those on the far left) - or just stay home.

Barack Obama, the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee for President, has become a target for white supremacists and other extremists on various Websites and Internet forums since he began his campaign. White supremacists, not surprisingly, focus on Obama's African-American background and the threat they feel he poses to America's white population. Some warn people to be ready for an oncoming disaster if Obama is elected. Many suggest that Obama is a good target for an assassination attempt. Some anti-Semitic posts focus on how Jews control Obama and his candidacy. Still others claim that Obama has ties to radical movements or that his former church has carried out murders.
The comments below are from neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and adherents of Christian Identity, a racist, anti-Semitic religion. Some are from well-known haters like former Klan leader David Duke and white supremacists Hal Turner and Tom Metzger while others are from unknown individuals posting to extremist forums and Websites and individual blogs. Most of the commentators use blatantly racist, hateful language to express their views.
Contempt for Obama's run for the presidency figures strongly on white supremacist Internet forums. Posters on those forums rail against Obama and talk of the upheaval that would ensue if he were elected President. In a June 2008 post to Stormfront, a forum popular among white supremacists and anti-Semites, one person suggests that Obama seeks the destruction of the White race: "Obama is a commie leftist who knows that by banning guns innocent Whites will be at the mercy of illegally armed black thugs. It's part of his agenda to destroy the White race."
In a comment posted in June 2008 on Vanguard News Network (VNN), another forum popular among white supremacists and anti-Semites, an individual expressed rage that Obama thinks he could get elected President:
Did anyone else catch that arrogant ass this past weekend? So help me - he was actually bobbing up and down just like a rooster and bragging & boasting of how "in 2016 - he'll be wrapping up two terms as President." What an insufferable ego-maniacal blow-hard! Couldn't even win but 6 of the last 15 primaries or match Hillary overall in total votes but in his afro-centric fantasy-world he's already won 2 terms! This past weekend Barack Hussein was really letting his Ni--er Flag FLY! An Obama nation is an abomination.
Hal Turner, a white supremacist who hosts a New Jersey-based Internet radio show, wrote in March 2008:
After all, do we really want a mixed-race, mongrel negro, half-breed in the most powerful political office on the planet? I can see it now, Barak [sic] Obama doing for America what Robert Mugabe did for Zimbabwe. . .or what Nelson Mandella [sic] did for South Africa. . . skyrocketing crime, disease and a collapsed economy. No thanks.
On another thread on the VNN forum entitled "Obama will form an all black police force and will round you all up and water board u," an individual wrote in June 2008:
You know it's coming. If you're not scared then you're stupid. As soon as they can do it, they will. They are chomping at the bit. They have real military training, they can buy real law enforcement weapons, you can't. run, run, hide. you are the rabbit, quit sticking your chest out.
Continuing with this theme, in a June 2008 article entitled "A Black Flag for White America," David Duke, a former Klan leader and an anti-Semite, wrote, "In auto racing, a black flag is the signal used for the car to go to the pits. Barack Obama winning the Democrat Nomination is a black flag for America, a sign of where we as a people and nation are heading?to the pits."
Many of the individuals posting on extremist forums imply or state directly that Obama will not survive his run for the presidency. In June 2008, Tyrranicide, a racist blog, began to allude openly to the assassination of Obama as in evident in this section of a longer post:
I'd give almost even money: when somebody finally parts Hussein's nappy hair with a bullet, if it isn't someone hired by Hillary, it will be some wasted street coon from a D.C. gang or some other "disillusioned Affikin-Amurkin" who has finally realized that Brother Barry has sold de cullud folks down the river.
On a thread titled "Obama Assassination: Where Will You be?" posted to the VNN forum in June 2008, one individual focused not just on an assassination attempt on Obama but his wife, as well, and made insidious allusions to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln:
Maybe his wife will even get hit with a bullet ... this is good. Maybe the more they talk about the Obongo assassination, the juicier a target he could become for a sniper looking to put a historical notch on his belt ... we can only hope he won't wait until the elections! Who doesn't know John Wilkes Booth? Its [sic] a REAL opportunity for the right person!
That same month, another poster to VNN wrote, "f--- that dirty banana eating ni--er! he'll get my guns over my dead body! if ever there was a reason to hate this ni--er, this is it. ill [sic] be glad when he's pushing up daisy's [sic]." On Stormfront, a person wrote also in June, "That's ALL we need .. [sic] another dead negro day...That's the day all the white people show up and get to work without coons to slow things down..."
As is often the case, posters to extremist forums voice the anti-Semitic belief that Jews are controlling events, and manipulating both Barack Obama and his run for the presidency. In June 2008, Tyrannicide, a racist blog, talked about the Jews "running" Obama "behind the scenes."
How do you think they're going to feel when BO is elected, there he sits in the Oval Office with Michelle crawling around on the floor and getting her fleas all in the carpet, and he turns out to be nothing more than a sock puppet for the smart Jews who have been running him from behind the scenes all along? You know, the mysterious pale-skinned backers who came up with that $250 million no one quite seems to know where he got? (Or is even asking?)
On Stormfront, one poster extended Jewish control over the election process to John McCain's campaign, as well, writing in June 2008:
I don't want McCain or Obama to be the president. They're both New World Order candidates and are on the payroll of the Jews. You're throwing your vote away if you choose either candidate. This election is rigged. The Zionist have [sic] set it up to where either person will take us further into bondage.
That same month, another Stormfront poster commented, "Obama has shown itself [sic] to be a good slave for the jew scum."
A person posting to the forum of the American National Socialist Worker's Party, a neo-Nazi group, wrote in May 2008 that Obama's recounting of his uncle's experience in World War II is evidence that "Obviously Obama only came out with this story to try and win over the Jews. All the candidates have to show they love Jews."
Since March 2008, Bible Study Site, a Web site dedicated to the racist and anti-Semitic religion, Christian Identity, has been posting material to a page featuring negative writings about Obama. The virulently anti-Semitic site attributes the success of Obama's campaign to "Judaics" who have instilled "white guilt" into non-Jewish Americans. One statement on the site says:
[Y]ou cannot deny that White America is being phased out purposely? And where do these goofs get this self-hatred from? From the Judaic intellectuals, of course (who do not identify themselves as 'of the White race' but rather as a separate race they call 'Jews')? [T]he International Judaics have craftily succeeded in creating an artificial balance of power in America between the 68% population of Whites and the 13% population of Blacks? They are playing America and the Western Christian nations like a harp, fundamentally altering our accepted and traditional social norms, turning us into a people that God would be want to despise? Those evil seducing people are the International Judaics and their lackeys, both their 'lesser brethren Judaics' and their 'useful idiot Gentiles'? It has been stated (but not sufficiently documented at this time for my liking) that Barak [sic] Obama's mother was a Communist Jewess, which would actually go a long way to explaining much about Obama.
Other white supremacists have posted articles and comments on their Websites stating that Obama has ties to Communists, terrorists and other radicals or that his former church was involved in murdering congregants. On his Website, David Duke posted an article in April 2008, entitled "Barack Hussein Obama's ties with unrepentant communist, terrorists!" In February 2008, Duke authored another article entitled "Why I oppose Obama as President of the United States," in which he stated that Obama's wife is a "Black racist and dedicated Black separatist":

The Website of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC), a white supremacist organization, posted a May 2008 article containing totally unsubstantiated information claiming that Obama's former church has carried out murders. The article by the CofCC News Team says that Obama's "militant 'Black Liberation Theology' church" is connected to the "execution style" murder of three "openly gay" parishioners. Another longtime white supremacist, Tom Metzger, wrote in an April 2008 "journal" entry, "Obama favours [sic] an unholly [sic] alliance between Marxism and Islam."
It is likely that extremists, particularly white supremacists, will become even more vehement in their attacks on Obama in the coming months.
