Obama's Islamist Family Connections
and Another Free Media Pass
It is no surprise by now that Obama comes from a very multi-cultural family. There are some Muslims and Christians. There are no Jews. He says he is now a Christian. His grandparents were Christians. His family in Kenya are Muslims. No surprise there. The only surprise is why the media ignores the Odinga connection?
A 2007 New York Times profile of Barack Obama is very revealing and does not seem to have been repeated anywhere else (that I know of).
"This past weekend, women and children -- entire families -- were burned alive as a crowd of Kenyans torched a church where they had gathered to protect themselves...The violence broke out after a disputed election in which Populist challenger Raila Odinga (who is Barack Obama's cousin) was defeated. Odinga had even hired Dick Morris as a consultant..." (From the NYT report, by Jack Wheeler)
"When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election last week (12/27) to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire... Throughout Kenya, hundreds of people have been politically murdered in the last few days. ...Raila has now made a deal for support from the Soviets' successors as world-champion enemies of the West and democratic freedoms: Muslim fundamentalists... The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya has posted on its website a photograph copy of a Memorandum of Understanding, dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya..." From the DougRossJournal - January 05, 2008 - "Barack Obama backs a Taliban Supporter in Kenya," describing the agreement between Obama's cousin, Raila Odinga and the Shiekh, "It pledges the support of the Kenyan Muslims for Reaila's election. In return, as President of Kenya, Raila agrees to 14 actions..."
They are:
Within 6 months, there will be a rewritten Constitution for Kenya which will recognize Sharia Muslim Law which is the law described in the Qua-ran.
Within one year a Sharia court for every Kenya division; that is, EVERYWHERE in Kenya, not just the Muslim areas.
And Doug Ross writes this about the Obama-Odinga connection:
"...And here is the biggest non-surprise: Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a "close personal friendship" with Barrack Hussein Obama Junior. When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi..." (DougRossJournal)
"Obama's bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila's "stooge."" (Ross)
Doug Ross says the agreement essential turns Kenya into an "African version of Talibanistan." And Ross continues with other provisions of the agreement, to-wit:
"Popularize Islam, the only true religion... by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes...Impose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshipers of the cross...Outlaw gospel programs... on KBC, the National Broadcaster... Impose a total ban on the public consumption of alcoholic beverages...Impose an immediate ban on women's public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith..." (Ross)
So are we surprised the mainstream has not reported this?

While I don't use a standard blog (weblog software) mostly because I've been doing this too long - having been there with Ike when the precursor to the Internet, Arpanet got started and every step of the way since, I can't get into all the many fads over the years (now it is social networking), but I have been an observer and participant in events which shape the world since my time with NSA and with Army Security and as a voice security cryptologist in the White House for the President, and the War Room at the Pentagon for the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff plus two wars. You could say this site is one of the better kept secrets [grin] on the InterNUT. You are invited back as often as you would like to see what I and others, I trust, may be saying.
For many I have met, social networking and blogs are popular because those who are enthrawed are, many of them, social misfits, but don't be deluded. The net today CAN be a huge waste of time unless you are smart enough to be discrimating about what you choose to believe as the truth (in science, a theory better than those which came before it). Much of the InterNUT is agenda driven and simply psycho babel for the otherwise lonely and delusional who invent their own reality. Take it all with many grains of salt. Read books, NOT blogs - Check credentials before you accept someone's views as informed. Separate the real from the fantasy, the customary world of us naked apes. Our species will eventually go extinct - as we should. There is nothing special about us BUT the greatest accomplishment you can ever have is (1) love and to (2) enjoy the journey. As for the truth, you will always find it unblemished and as true as I believe it to be when you read what is here. And if you don't agree, say so, but keep it sincere and as honest as you dare to be - and as honest as I always strive to be.
