Arabs Came To Destroy
Not To Build

The Arabs only built one town in Palestine.

ONLY ONE...

"The feeling of so many nineteenth-century visitors that the country had been waiting for the return of its lawful inhabitants was made the more significant by the shallowness of the Arab imprint on the country. In twelve hundred years of association, they build only a single town, Ramleh, established as the local subprovincial capital in the eighth century. The researchers of the nineteenth-century scholars, beginning with the archaeologist Edward Robinson in 1838, revealed that hundreds of place-names of villages and sites, seemingly Arab, were Arabic renderings or translations of ancient Hebrew names, biblical or Talmudic. The Arabs have never even had a name of their own for this country which they claim. "Filastin" is merely the Arab transliteration of "Palestine," the name the Romans gave the country when they determined to obliterate the "presence of the Jewish people." (Samuel Katz, "Battleground.." - 73)

"Sir George Adam Smith, author of the "Historical Geography of the Holy Land," wrote in 1891" `The principle of nationality requires their (the Turks') dispossession. Nor is there any indigenous civilization in Palestine that could take the place of the Turkish except that of the Jews who...have given to Palestine everything it has ever had of value to the world.' This blunt judgement was entirely normal; it aroused no objections and offended no one. It was a simple statement of a unique and irrefutable fact. The Arabs's discovery of Palestine came many years later." (Katz)

It is an Arab myth that the Arabian Peninsula is a land where history begins with Muhammad and Israel is not a real nation. Arabs insist Israel is on land that belongs to them. Islam is a religion, not about peace, but about conquest and plunder. When the Jews returned there and built up the land it became once more a place for the Arabs to plunder. The pre-modern Arab civilization brought with it a creed that has offered an afterlife to people with nothing in this life.

Those Arab writers who dare to expose Islam like Salmon Rushdie and others had to change their names and live in hiding to escape Fatwas which sentence them to death. Arabs were invaders from the desert.

"`The invaders from the desert,' writes Philip K. Hitti, the foremost modern Arab historian, `brought with them no tradition of learning, no heritage of culture to the lands they conquered...They sat as pupils at the feet of the peoples they subdued.' What we therefore call `Arabic civilization' was Arabian neither in its origins and fundamental structure nor in its principal ethnic aspects. the purely Arabic contribution in it was in the linguistic and to a certain extent in the religious fields. Throughout the whole period of the Caliiphate, the Syrians, the Persians, the Egyptians, and others, as Moslem converts or as Christians or Jews, were the foremost bearers of the torch of enlightenment and learning." (Katz) NOT the Arabs....

"The result was a great volume of translation from the ancient writings of a host of cultures in East and West alike, from Greece to India. Most of the great works in mathematics, astronomy, medicine, and philosophy were rendered into Arabic and, in many cases, were thus saved for Europe...." (Katz)

"But when we speak of `Arab medicine' or `Arab philosophy' or `Arab mathematics', notes Hitti, "we do not mean the medical science, philosophy or mathematics that are necessarily the product of the Arabian peninsula, but that body of knowledge enshrined in books written in the Arabic language by men who flourished chiefly during the caliphate..." (Katz)

Islam came with the sword

"Make war on [the unbelievers] until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme." (The Koran, 8:40)

The Lie of Occupation

The big lie is that Israel is preventing Palestinian self-government. Arabs in the territories have a lot of babies. They create more mouths to feed, but they are really creating more soldiers for Allah. Israel doesn't want that kind of time bomb in Israel and since the Arabs won't go away Israel will build a big wall.

The Lie of Expulsion

"Of the 62,000 Arabs who formerly lived in Haifa, not more than 5,000 remained. Various factors influenced their decision... specifically... announcements over Arab radio by the Higher Arab Executive urging Arabs to leave... that those who remained, accepting Jewish protection, would be regarded as renegades." (The Economist (Oct. 2, 1948))

"The Arab States encouraged Palestine Arabs to leave their homes in order to be out of the way of the Arab invasion armies." The Jordanian newspaper Filastin (Feb. 19, 1949)

"The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Assam Pasha [told] the Arabs of Palestine to leave their land, homes and property and stay in neighboring states, lest the guns of invading Arab armies mow them down." The New York Lebanese paper Al Hoda (June 8, 1951)

"Every effort is being made by the Jews to persuade the Arab population to remain, that the Jewish state would honor and protect them." Haifa's British police chief reported in April, 1948

"In Tiberias I saw a sign fixed to a sealed Arab Mosque saying, 'We did not dispossess them... they will return... let no citizen touch their property.'" The New York Times (April 23, 1948)

Pledged to Destroy Israel

Israel has already ceded most of the territory to the Arabs. All they have to do is what they promised to do at Oslo; to change their covenant and which pledges to destroy Israel and to stop terrorism.

"Since the second stage of Oslo was implemented in 1995, and most Palestinian towns and villages were ceded to the control of Arafat's Palestinian Authority, over 95 percent of the Palestinian Arab population of the West Bank and Gaza have not been under physical Israeli occupation. Yet amazingly, Arab spokesmen keep talking about their need to fight Israeli occupation, and the media seldom challenge them." (Daniel Doron, Jerusalem Post - Daniel Doron writes extensively for the Post and other publications on topics of Jewish and Israeli interest - He is president of the Israel Center for Social and Economic Progress in Jerusalem)

"It seems like everyone forgot that in signing the Oslo accords, Israel recognized Arafat's PLO as the official representative of the Palestinian people. Arafat was brought back, with his henchmen, from exile in Tunisia and given control of territories that Israel occupied in the defensive 1967 war - areas that never belonged to any Palestinian entity. In return for self-government, the Palestinians undertook to revoke parts of their national covenant that called for Israel's destruction, and never again to resort to violence. These pledges were constantly violated the moment the Israeli occupation was removed." (Doron)

As long as the Palestinians refuse to stop terrorism Israel must do it and this is what they object to. They call it Israeli terrorism and the media jumps on it and Palestinian apologists invent more Jenins. It has reached the point where the Palestinian Authority is no longer relevant because they won't do anything that was promised at Oslo and the only way to guarantee peace and a life in Israel is to erect a giant wall - which no one likes, not even the Israelis.

The lie is Israel wants the wall to grab more Arab land. If Israel wanted more of the land, it could take it since it belongs to the original Mandate for a Jewish National Homeland and legitimately belongs to Israel, and the British illegitimately already severed a huge part of that Mandate and called it Transjordan. Israelis would rather have a wall than those on the other side of that wall because Israel doesn't want all those baby making Arabs living in Israel.

"The election that Arafat won, with an over 90 percent majority, Bolshevik style, was rather questionable and was never repeated again. In fact, the "Authority" Arafat has established is even more repressive than many of the 21 dictatorships governing the other Arab states. His henchmen did what they knew best. They immediately established a rule of terror, brooking no opposition, and wrested control from the local leadership. They systematically violated the Palestinians' most rudimentary human rights, engaging in extortion, kidnap, torture, and summary execution. They robbed the inhabitants of their livelihood, creating such mayhem that the Palestinian standard of living was cut by half and unemployment rose to over 60 percent. Every resource was exploited to wage a war against Israel, including considerable funds earmarked by the European Union and the U.S. as aid for the refugees." (Doron)

As many Israelis have correctly concluded, even many on the left in Israel - who now support Sharon, the only occupation in the territories is by Arafat who has become a very, very rich occupier.

"Yes, the Palestinians are right in feeling under occupation and oppressed. But they are mistaken to think it is by Israel."(Doron)

The problem for Arabs is the lie that they are entitled to all of Israel. No matter that the Arabs were granted rights to most of what was formerly Turkish-controlled lands, to an area that was 500 times larger in size than the small sliver of land reserved for a Jewish homeland in Palestine. No matter than the Arabs have no historic claim to Eretz Yisrael and they already have a state in Jordan, which was carved off of the original Mandate and given to Abdullah Hussein from Saudi Arabia, to be king of the Palestinians.

The land the settlements were built on was not the 95% which is occupied by the PA, but the 3%-5% which was unoccupied government owned land which no one was using and settled by Jews as it has always been historically and who have a legal right to settle on what was Mandated for them as the national homeland of the Jews. That small fraction of _public_ land is what all the fuss is about.

No matter that there never was an "Arab Palestine". As Bernard Lewis stated (see any of his books on the Arabs and Israel):

"From the end of the Jewish state in antiquity to the beginning of British rule, the area now designated by the name Palestine was not a country and had no frontiers, only administrative boundaries...within a larger entity" (of Syria).

The Biggest Lie is that anybody
besides the Jews wanted Judea and Samaria at all

"Indeed, to date, 93 percent of the land in what was the British Mandate including the lands of the West Bank are still government-owned. They were so despoiled, malaria-infected, and sparsely populated that no private owners evinced any interest in owning them, so they were kept by the sultan and then inherited by the British Mandate in safekeeping for the Jews." [Doron]

"It was only toward the end of the 18th century, when a growing stream of Jewish immigrants rehabilitated the land draining swamps, reclaiming deserts, and controlling the diseases (chiefly malaria) that a decimated Arab population began increasing. The resuscitation of the land by the Jews and the economic opportunity they created brought an influx of Arab immigrants from dirt-poor neighboring Arab states to swell the number of Arabs in Palestine." [Doron]

These are the facts, but those antisemites on the interNUT who recycle myths about Israel and the Arabs don't want to hear it. Anyone who presents the facts is called a "right wing Zionist". As if being a Zionist implies one must be either right or left -- or Jewish. One doesn't have to be Jewish to believe the Jews deserve to live in their homeland or that Zionism is the Jewish Liberation Movement; liberation from oppression and Israel is a haven for Jews escaping persecution.

Nazification

Alexander Cockburn isn't Jewish, he is an Anglo-Irish expatriate who leads the pack when it comes to "nazification" of the Israelis.

"To those who practice Goebbels-like inversions, everybody is potentially a Nazi except the Nazis themselves. Thus, Cockburn's illiterate fulminations against the Hebrew Bible are invariably aimed at depicting the Jews (and not the Nazis)as the "chosen people. . . of genocide." In March 1986, when Gore Vidal (in the Nation) attacked American Jews as "fifth columnists," "guests" who have no interest in becoming "assimilated Americans" and don't respect their "host country," Cockburn came to the defense of his colleague's antisemitic screed by assuring readers that "the Nazis approved of Zionism" (Nation, 21 June 1986). None of the Nation's numerous resident experts on racism had the temerity to ask Cockburn to explain the view of Zionism expressed by a Nazi named Adolf Hitler. In Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote: "While the Zionists try to make the rest of the world believe that the national consciousness of the Jews finds its satisfaction in the creation of a Palestinian state, the Jews again slyly dupe the dumb goyim. It doesn't even enter their heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organization for their international swindle." Such words may be music to Cockburn's inward ear; but do they really express "approval of Zionism"?" (Alexander and originally published in the Seattle Times, 6 December 1989)

Anti-Zionists declare Israel a "Nazi state" because as a response to acts of terrorism, the Israel Defense Forces raze the homes of suicide bombers, with their armored bulldozers. You know the ones who in order to go straight to heaven and get their 72 virgins blow themselves up and kill Jewish babies and their mothers.

The IDF is accused of using Nazi tactics for the bulldozing of "illegal" houses in Israel which are used to cover for mortar fire which rains down on Israeli civilians. Groups like the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) doesn't mention fact. Nor do these critics of Israel and the IDF mention the houses which hold tunnels used for smuggling weapons to be used to murder Jews - or simply because the home was used for a family where a son or daughter was encouraged to become a suicide bomber and blow up a bus full of Jewish babies. The Arabs and the left are noticeably quiet about those things because they don't want anyone to think that Israeli policy is anything but cruel - even as those mothers and fathers have praise for their children who die for Allah and want more children so they can also sacrifice them for their Jihad against non-Muslims and especially those Jews.

The IDF tracks down Arab murderers and kills them. How dare those terrible Israelis do such dastardly acts like taking the life of those who takes lives. And how dare those Israelis spoil the image by hiring Palestinians to work in Israel, providing them with jobs they would not otherwise have and even if Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Arabs can participate in the democratic decision making process, Israelis are still Nazis and Israel is a Nazi state, they say.

"The equation of Jews with Nazis antedates the Holocaust and the establishment of the State of Israel. It appears to have been a British invention, one Conor Cruise O'Brien has traced back to British official circles, which in 1941 were using the epithet "Jewish Nazi state" to refer to Jewish Palestine. From "The Siege: The Saga of Israel and Zionism" New York: Simon and Schuster, 1986, 258 quoted by Edward Alexander in "The Jewish Wars: Reflections by One of the Belligerents" published by Southern Illinois Press, 1996)

"By now it is a mere commonplace in the parlance of Israel-haters. The same Conor O'Brien, fresh from many conversations with Britons in 1982, proposed making this vilification a kind of litmus paper for the detection of antisemitism:"(Edwards)

"If your interlocutor can't keep Hitler out of the conversation,... feverishly turning Jews into Nazis and Arabs into Jews -- why then, I think, you may well be talking to an anti-Jewist." (O'Brien)
Turning the Jewish People
into Nazis

"Israelis of the far left, it goes without saying, have been heavily involved in this sordid enterprise for many years. Such desperadoes as Israel Shahak, Felicia Langer, and Lea Tsemel have for over a decade adorned their statements to the press on the Arab-Israeli "conflict" with references to Israel as a Nazi state, and to Palestinian Arabs as Jews. Shahak, in a book of 1975 called Le Racisme de l'Etat d'Israel,, (Le Racisme de l'Etat d'Israel ( Paris, 1975), 267) went a step beyond his competitors in slanderous bombast by stating that `The Jews of Israel, along with most of the Jews of the world, are at, present undergoing a process of nazification.'" (Alexander)

"During the war in Lebanon a host of Israelis, ranging from publishers of pornographic newspapers to university professors, whom nobody outside of Israel had heard of before became instant celebrities in Europe and America by characterizing the Israeli government, in the words of Professor Yeshayahu Leibowitz, as "Judeo-Nazi." Since 1982 Israelis of the most modest intellectual endowments discovered that the licentious equation of their country with Nazi Germany provided a short, ready, and often lucrative path to radio and television appearances and to the lecture circuit. They could also be enshrined as prophets in books about Israel that fall into the category known as Israel-bashers." (Alexander)

Israel never organized a boycott of Arab owned stores. But an Arab suicide bomber blew up a restaurant full of Arabs and Jews which was jointly owned by a Jewish and Arab family. Who is the Nazi, the Jew or the Arabs who also kills other Arabs?

"When Jewish merchants in Berlin arrived at their stores in the morning of April First (1933), they found cadres of placard-carrying, arm-waving Brownshirts shooing customers away. All Jewish stores were identified by a yellow spot against a black background, reminiscent of the yellow stars Jews were forced to wear in the Middle Ages. In Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, and in every city and most towns throughtout Germany, the pickets cried, "Buuy German. Don't buy from Jewish stores!" Stink bombs were rolled into Jewish department stores. Judges were hauled off their benches by defendants. Doctor's patients were admonished at the door." (Edwin Black, "The Transfer Agreement" (1984) page 67)

"In the most fashionable sections of Berlin, Brownshirts armed with blackjacks and other weapons staged a daylong terror siege that included invading Jewish-owned stores, vandalizing the merchandise, extoring money, and then brutally beating the proprietors." (ibid)

There is NO Guilt in Winning

The Israeli Nazi equation appears to be the pseudo-spiritual catharsis a few Israelis need to rid themselves of the guilt associated with finally being winners. Jews have been victims for so long they do not know now how to be winners. If this trend of post-Zionist masochism continues there will be a rude awakening to just what it really does mean to be victims again.

The "Israeli Nazi" is the wrong analogy. Israelis are not expelling Arabs. Israelis are not publishing and promoting conspiracy theories, like the infamous "Elders of the Learned Protocols of Zion" and the conspiracy of media ownership and power and connections with Freemasons against Christian civilization. Hitler spread these ideas and Arabs have copied those Nazi ideas. Israelis are not rounding up Arabs and putting them in concentration camps. The Israelis are not making Arabs wear red crescents. The Israelis made life infinitely better for Arabs. They did not line them up, shoot them, and bury them in mass graves. The Israelis did none of these things.

There is a Professor's Boycott of Israeli academics just as there ar academics leading the push to a boycott of Israeli exports and there is an organized Cultural Boycott and a Sports Boycott and there is a Business Boycott. The Socialist Historians support boycott of Israel institutions. The Arab League, under Syrian pressure, has re-imposed a Secondary Boycott of Israel.

Edward Alexander reminds us that it was the academics in Germany who were in the forefront of racial purity and extermination of Jews.

"Hitler's professors were the first to make anti-Semitism both academically respectable and complicit in crime. They have now found their successors in Arafat's professors, whose grotesque antics serve as a reminder that knowledge is one thing, virtue another. If you expect moral nourishment from professors, you should try getting warmth from the moon." (Edward Alexander in an essay published by the Freeman Center for Strategic Studies - (Freeman.Org)

The Wall

Whenever the Arabs really dislike something, like the "wall", Israel's Security Fence, you know it must be good. It portends an end to the second Palestinian state idea. The wall is a demarcation that really does establish a new border. And while the current Israeli government says it is only temporary and only for security, these boundaries have a tendency to become permanent. They know it. Some Israelis object to the wall for that very reason because it also means the line stops there.

"For Israelis, this isn't a hypothetical question. The Israeli public has been forced to deal with an ongoing and deliberate campaign of terrorism in which all Israelis - Jews and Arabs, young and old, men, women and children - are considered legitimate targets by the Palestinian suicide bombers..." (Daniel Ayalon, "Israel's ambassador defends security fence; A barrier that shields and saves." from Washington Post OPED 08/26/2003)

"Constructing a security fence, thereby creating a physical barrier between Israel and the terrorists in the West Bank, is one of many defensive measures adopted by the government of Israel in order to combat the infiltration of suicide bombers into Israeli cities. The concept is both simple and tested. Despite the fact that Gaza is the center for both Hamas and Islamic Jihad - the two terrorist organizations most active in carrying out suicide attacks against Israelis - there have been practically no successful infiltrations of suicide bombers from this region into the Israeli heartland. The reason for this is that a security fence separates Gaza from Israel. This security fence acts as a shield, preventing access for terrorists. As the reality on the ground has proved in Gaza, by transferring this security measure to the West Bank it will be possible to substantially reduce the number of terrorist infiltrations into Israel."(Ayalon)

The Palestinian leadership doesn't want peace with Israel. They want what they can't achieve by force, and it appears they have already scammed George Bush into going along with their plan. For the Arabs, the road map is/was all pretend.

Most Arabs will not disassociate Islam from nationalism because it is to them all one and the same. There is no Palestinian state because there are no Palestinians. If they want to be considered "Palestinians" they can do so in Jordan. There never was a separate Palestinian state or Palestinian people before there was Jordan - but there is a Muslim unity and nationalism takes in all the land in the Arabian Peninsula. To them it is all one and the same. They still reject the nation-state concept which was imposed on them for purposes of colonial divisions and spheres of control for the European powers.

The Arabs reject the idea that a Jewish state
can exist anywhere in the region.

Now the 360 mile fence is built not because Israel likes to keep itself in, but because Arabs can't be trusted to cooperate and coexist with their neighbors. Nobody really wants it - but it is for the time being necessary and if it stops even one person from dying it is must be worth it.

George Bush didn't even like the Israeli security wall. He said he had a problem with it.

"I think the wall is a problem, and I have discussed this with (Israeli Prime Minister) Ariel Sharon, .... "It is very difficult to develop confidence between the Palestinians and the Israelis ... with a wall snaking through the West Bank." (Bush said at a joint press appearance with Abbas in the White House Rose Garden)

Everyone dislikes the wall. Even Israelis dislike the wall for the reason I've mentioned but also because Israelis would rather have good neighbors but the fact of the matter is they don't. So there is a need to establish a barrier.

And a wall has worked for Gaza. It kept out terrorist attacks. The wall on the "West Bank" will also prevent terrorism. If there was no terrorism, there would be no need for a wall.

Some have called this security fence a wall. This is true in only two small areas of the security fence where concrete is used in order to prevent sniper fire into Israel. The security fence is primarily comprised of wire and electronic devices used for surveillance purposes, similar to that which Israel has on its border with Lebanon, which has also proved to be an effective measure against incoming attacks on Israel."(Ayalon)

Peace with the Arabs of this region is like traversing a minefield. Who among them doesn't know that if the situation was reversed they would either transfer the Jews, kill them, or put up a wall themselves? The wall is the most humane and civilized means to separate belligerent neighbors and keep out Arab terrorists. Good fences do make better neighbors.

The fence, could eventually meander up to 900 kilometres (550 miles) and it will prevent suicide bombers from infiltrating from the West Bank.

This is not the first time there has been a wall between Arabs and Jews. There have been walls about Jews who had to live in Arab-style Jewish ghettos -- which called by various names, "hara", "mellah" or other names given to those areas.

A Jewish writer chronicled the condition of the Jew in Egypt in the 20s: (Visit to Harat al-Yahud which was Cairo's Jewish Quarter from a journalists in Arabic (June, 1920) cited by Jacob M. Landau, "Jews in Nineteenth Century Egypt (NY, 69))

"Our people are crowded and clustered into houses bout to collapse, in dark cellars, narrow alleys and crooked lanes choked with mud and stinking refuse, earning their meagre living in dark shops and suffocating workshops, toiling back to back, sunscroched and sleepless. Their hard struggle for existence both inside and outside thei home is rewarded by a few beans and black bread." (ibid)

If Arabs on the West bank want to be treated equal to the Jews they must show respect for the Jews and be willing to live in peace. Jews were never treated equally by Arabs. There were other laws for infidels and especially those who were Jewish - who was excoriated by Muhammad in the Koran and often treated with disdain by Arabs.

"Among the Jews in Arab lands were many individual personal successes and regionalized intermittent prosperity, but the tradition of persecution was characteristic throughout most of Jewish history under Arab rule." [Hayyim J. Cohen, "Jews of the Middle East 1860-1972 (Jerusalem, 1973) quoted in "From Time Immemorial" by Joan Peters]

The condition of Dhimmi, the "Twelve Laws" for non-Muslims exists even today and is also a fence between Muslims and Jews - and other non-Muslims. Where is the outrage?
